A STUDY ON WOMEN WITH DISABLITIES
The Government Must Revise Existing Strategies, Policies And Legislation In Order To Make Them Conformity With International Disability Standards And Instruments. The Ncrdp Should Be Given A Status Of An Independent And Autonomous Commission/institution, And It Must Have Authority To Monitor The Implementation Of The Policies, Legislation And Un Convention On The Rights Of Persons With Disabilities (Crpd) In A True Sense. Besides, There Must Be Strong Coordination Among The Concerned Departments Dealing With Disability At Federal, Provincial And District Level. The Government Must Establish A Separate Ministry Dedicated To The Persons With Disabilities, Catering Their Needs And Rights, To Bring Improvement In Their Situation.

A Focus On Long-term Sustainability And Adherence To Policy Objectives Will Be Crucial For The Success Of These Empowerment Efforts.
